Abstract
Myoma patients with bleeding occur based on the location, direction of growth, the type and number of myoma. According its place and the direction of growth, the myoma uteri divided four types, such as : submucous uterine myoma, intramural uterine myoma, subserosal uterine myoma, and intraligamenter uterine myoma. The bleeding occurances from these myoma utery patients can cause serious problem to women since it can cause iron deficiency anemia. The purpose of research is to know the correlation between these kinds of myoma uterine with occurance of bleeding, which studied in Salak Bogor Hospital peroide January 2011 to December 2015. This study is a comparative analytic study using cross sectional approach. These sample included 100 patients , who taken by use purposive sampling method and the formula lameshow The result of univariate analysis obtained that the most types of myoma is intramural uterine myoma and uterine myoma symptoms that often arises is menorrhagia. The result of bivariate analysis using Chi-Square test was not eligible because the expected count value ≤ 5 or ≤ 0.05. Then, trying to use merging cells and using the same test twice, the result obtained p = 0.000 that means there’s correlation between the type of myoma uteri with the incidence of bleeding. Therefore, the conclusion is there’s correlation between the type of myoma uteri on the incidence of bleeding. Bleeding in myoma uteri due to the expansion of the endometrial lining and suppression of uterine myoma tissue , which cause suppression of uterine blood vessels , until menorrhagia.
