Abstract
Take care of children under five health is one alternative way to get an Indonesian demographic bonus in 2030. This study aims to describe the nutritional status of children under five in rural and urban areas of Banten Province. This type of research is descriptive observational with cross sectional design. The population of this study is children under-five in rural and urban areas of Banten Province. The research sample is 160 children from Baduy for rural areas and Rangkasbitung for urban areas. The results of the study showed that there were still under five children with undernutrition as many as 49 childrens (30.6%), 73.5% of the total came from urban areas. The majority of head of family are productive age ≤49 years. All heads of a family from rural do not attend school and work as farmers. The majority of urban communities work as civil servants and entrepreneurs. Health services obtained in urban areas are better than in rural areas, but for health behaviors such as consuming vegetables and fruit and boiling drinking water is better in rural areas.
